The department adopts the pathological specialist diagnosis work mode and has formed a pathological diagnosis and research talent echelon focusing on subspecialized direction. With the standardized working flow of the department, it has set a modern comprehensive pathological diagnosis model based on the trinity of histopathology-immunohistochemistry-molecular pathological detection technology. It can not only aid the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of difficult cases of tumors, but also provide accurate and sufficient information for individualized and precise treatment of patients guided by clinical targeted therapy. The department currently has three technology platforms: IHC, FISH and PCR sequencing. Among them, the IHC platform has nearly 200 kinds of antibodies, covering all human systems and tumor disease antibody markers; The FISH platform can be used for accurate diagnosis and targeted therapy of some tumors at this stage; PCR sequencing platforms have carried out most tumor molecular projects. Equipped with pathology tele-consultation platform and gradual advancement of hierarchical diagnosis and treatment, it can meet the needs of basic-level hospitals in the region for tele-consultation to routine pathology and difficult cases.
