Sports Medicine/Arthroscopy Department
The First Hospital of Jilin University took the lead in establishing the Department of Sports Medicine in Jilin province on August 16th, 2011. At present, the department has 2 chief physicians, 2 deputy chief physicians, 6 attending physicians, 8 of them have doctoral degree, and there are 28 hospital beds.
Since the establishment of the department, the annual operation volume has reached over 1,000 cases and it has been increasing year by year. The follow-up outcomes confirmed that the patients’ joint function recovered well with rare surgical complications. After years’ accumulated clinical experience ,the department currently can provide matured surgical technique with its own characteristics.
