The First Operating Room is the largest operating room in The First Hospital of Jilin University, consisting of 51 operating rooms.  It is set up on the 7th and 8th floors of the 3rd building of the hospital, with a construction area of 20,000 square meters. The 8th floor covers an area of 10,000 square meters, including anesthesia recovery room, medical staff living area and purification unit area; The 7th floor covers an area of 10,000 square meters, which is a clean and dirty dual-channel layout structure.

With the improvement of the comprehensive strength of the hospital, the first operating room scientifically uses the refined management model for quality control and safety risk, makes effective improvements in personnel, equipment, consumables and process reengineering, controls the whole process of surgery, escorts the safety of patients during the perioperative period, and achieves good results in clinical practice.
