The department currently has 13 doctors, 5 of them have senior titles, 2 of them have intermediate titles, and 6 of them have primary titles; there are 5 doctoral degree holders, 6 master degree holders, 2 Ph.D. candidates, and 1 external visiting professor.

Doctors of the Department of Pediatric Gastroenterology have successively studied in major well-known hospitals both at home and abroad, such as Flinders University in Australia, Renji Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University, Children’s Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University in Shanghai, Beijing Air Force General Hospital, Shengjing Hospital Affiliated to China Medical University, etc.

The department also undertakes the teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate students. There are currently 3 postgraduate supervisors, and more than 10 postgraduates have been trained successively. There are more than 50 doctors from inside and outside the province for further study and more than 100 residence doctors in pediatrics have been trained.

The department has undertaken dozens of national-level, provincial-level, university-level, hospital-level and horizontal projects, and has a total of millions of scientific research funds. The department has published hundreds of papers, including more than 20 SCI and EI papers. It has contributed several papers to conferences at home and abroad, and made several speeches in domestic conferences and universities. As the chairman unit of the Pediatrics Branch of Jilin Medical Association, it has participated in a number of domestic multi-center studies.
