Complex anal fistula surgery to preserve sphincter function under the guidance of endorectal ultrasound; emergency treatment of severe necrotizing fasciitis (Necrotizing fasciitis) and wound repair techniques (skin flap, VSD, etc.); endorectal advancement flap (ERAF) for anal fistula, LIFT surgery (Ligation of intersphincteric fistula tract day minimally invasive surgery); PPH, TST, RPH minimally invasive surgery for hemorrhoids (Presided over the formulation of “Technical Specifications for Minimally Invasive Hemorrhoid Surgery in Jilin Province”).

2) Construction of pelvic floor surgery: minimally invasive surgery and rehabilitation treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction diseases.

The department took the lead in establishing an MDT platform for pelvic floor diseases with the obstetrics and gynecology, urology, and imaging departments in Jilin Province and developed individualized laparoscopic mesh suspension technology for pelvic organ prolapse based on pelvic floor anatomy (POPS, SIR-Soft Intraperitoneal Rectopexy), and developed Obstetric-related anal sphincter injuries (OASIS) and repair of Rectovaginal fistula (RRF).

3) Standardized treatment and precision functional sphincter-preserving surgery for rectal cancer

Based on rich practical experience in pelvic floor anorectal surgery and perfect pelvic floor rehabilitation equipment and methods, the department carries out sphincter-preserving surgery for low rectal cancer: Intersphincteric rectal resection (ISR-intersphincteric resection), Combined with transabdominal transanal total mesorectal excision (TaTME-transanal total mesorectal excision) technology. It also established “Technical Specifications for Laparoscopic Rectal Cancer TME in Jilin Province”.

4) Individualized diagnosis and  treatment of functional constipation.

The department has the most complete positioning diagnosis and rehabilitation equipment for functional constipation in Jilin Province: Colonic transit test, Defecography, Anorectal pressure measurement, Pelvic floor electromyography, Biostimulation feedback device (Myotrac Infiniti), Magnetic stimulator (Magneuro);

The department is the first to carry out slow transit constipation in Jilin Province: Aparoscopic Total Colectomy, STARR-Stapled Trans-anal Rectal Resection for bowel obstruction syndrome, Magnetoelectric therapy for pelvic floor disease.
