The characteristics of nuclear medicine diagnosis and treatment are:

Radioiodine therapy 131I for differentiated thyroid cancer.

The department is now equipped with 12 standardized radionuclide treatment beds and fully automatic decay cell system. The number of hospitalizations for thyroid cancer radioactive iodine treatment reached 1200 person-times per year. The outpatient exceeds 10,000 person-times per year, and the patient covers the three northeastern provinces.

The department also conducts 131I treatment of hyperthyroidism, 90Sr applicator for the treatment of hemangioma, keloid; 89Sr in the treatment of bone metastases, 32P treatment of hematological tumors, 125I particle therapy for solid tumors and many other radionuclide projects.
