Teaching and Training

The department is responsible for class and clinical practice teaching for undergraduate and postgraduate medical students, which is the largest teaching base of pediatric critical care medicine in Jilin Province. Every year, the department regularly holds national academic conferences and Jilin Province pediatric critical illness seminars to train primary pediatricians from other hospitals.

In 2017, the department organized Jilin Province Pediatric First Aid Union which now covers 26 counties and 86 hospitals in Jilin Province and Inner Mongolia. It has established a systematic protocol for pre-hospital first aid and long-distance transportation of critically patients, which improved the treatmnet outcomes of critical ill children in Jilin Province.

The department is equipped with superb medical technological equipment, with all of its staffs adhereing to the tenet of “caring for life with love and earning trust with sincerity”, the department members will go all out for saving lives!
