Introduction of the Scientific Research Department of The First Hospital of Jilin University
The Scientific Research Department consists of the Project Management Office, the Achievement Management Office, the Foreign Affairs Management Office, the Scientific Research Platform Center and the Laboratory Animal Center, which are responsible for the discipline construction, project management, foreign affairs management, scientific research platform, laboratory animal center and other management work of the hospital respectively.
Project Management Office:
It is mainly responsible for assisting the leaders of the hospital in planning, coordinating, supervising and inspecting the scientific research work of the whole hospital; responsible for organizing the application, establishment, inspection, conclusion and achievement identification of various projects; responsible for the management of scientific research funds of the whole hospital, such as the approval of the use of funds, annual accounting and other related work; responsible for the management of domestic and foreign advanced study of the hospital’s medical staff and other related matters.
The Achievement Management Office:
It is mainly responsible for assisting the leaders of the hospital to study and formulate plans, systems, measures and methods to promote the development of hospital discipline construction and supervise the implementation and inspection; responsible for implementing the development plans, work systems and incentive policies for high-level talents in aJilin University and The First Hospital of Jilin University, and organizing and implementing the introduction, evaluation and assessment of high-level talents; responsible for formulating relevant rules and regulations for academic misconduct prevention, scientific research integrity construction, etc., and promoting the implementation; responsible for supervising the formation process of scientific research achievement and investigating misconduct in scientific research; responsible for the general election of provincial and municipal societies.
The Foreign Affairs Management Office:
It is mainly responsible for assisting the hospital to build medical scientific research exchange platforms at home and abroad, and to introduce high-level intellectual talents; responsible for cooperating with domestic scientific research institutions and enterprises in key fields; responsible for project application and management of the academic innovation and intelligence introduction base of Jilin University, international demonstration bases etc., and related projects of foreign medical experts.
Responsible for the training and assessment of expatriate scientific research personnel from various departments of the hospital, and the application, verification and visa (endorsement) for temporary travel abroad on official duty; responsible for the application and verification of international medical academic conferences; responsible for receiving foreign experts to visit, inspect and study on the scientific research achievements of the hospital; responsible for the construction of the hospital’s English website.
The Scientific Research Platform Center:
It is mainly responsible for the operation and management of the Translational Medicine Research Institute and the public experimental platform; the daily academic activities of the Translational Medicine Research Institute; responsible for the performance appraisal of full-time scientific researchers; responsible for assisting the emergency office in managing the safety of the Translational Medicine Research Institute.
Laboratory Animal Center:
It is mainly responsible for the operation and management of ordinary and SPF level animal facilities in the hospital; responsible for animal experiments and the support of its welfare and ethics related work.
